Girard School's Guidance Counselor, Marilyn Hey, along with assistance from the Scholarship Committee, coordinates many of the scholarships that will be awarded at Senior day this year. This Scholarship Committee is looking forward to an exciting year of renewed scholarship donors, as well as new donors looking to assist in our GHS future alumni higher education. Much of the work contacting scholarship donors and accounting for the individual scholarship amounts will be distributed among the Scholarship committee members this year. So, expect to hear from one of our hard working volunteers regarding your scholarship commitments.
Seniors use a common scholarship application when applying for awards. No person will be considered for a scholarship through the Scholarship Committee without completing the common scholarship application. Last year there were approximately 40 scholarships awarded totaling nearly $38,000.00. Seniors should contact Mrs. Marilyn Hey for an application.
